- CentOS 5.11 x86_64
- CentOS 最小安裝

yum install lm_sensors net-snmp

NOTE:

如果是 CentOS 6 改成
yum groupinstall "Compatibility Libraries"
yum groupinstall "Development tools"

// 最後確認需要的套件清單

rpm -qa | grep -i snmp
rpm -qa | grep -i compat
rpm -qa | grep ssh
rpm -qa | grep glib

開始安裝 SIM Server

chmod +x SIM_7.4_Z7550-96077.bin
./SIM_7.4_Z7550-96077.bin

初始化 SIM Server

/opt/mx/bin/mxinitconfig -a

NOTE: 這會需要幾分鐘的時間，要確認執行的進度，可以執行
more /var/opt/mx/logs/initconfig.log

檢查服務 mxdomainmgr, mxinventory, mxdtf 是否存在

ps -ef | grep mx

NOTE: 如果服務沒有啟動，執行 /opt/mx/bin/mxstart

前往登入

http://<ip-address>:280/

NOTE:

* 預設登入使用系統 root 帳號

* 第一次登入可以跳過 設定精靈 的指引，之後再手動執行 Discover。

Q: 如何變更管理介面的語言為英文

Ans：管理頁面的語系是從瀏覽器的語言設定所決定，以 Firefox 為例:

Firefox > 選項 > 內容 > 語言 > 將 英文 往上移至第一個順序

重新登入 SIM 管理介面試試。

Q: 透過 iLO 網頁要遠端控制主機時，選用 Java IRC 常常會不成功

Ans：如果是 Windows 用戶可以改用 .Net IRC，只要下載安裝這套件
