系統環境：RedHat Linux 5.2

必要的相依套件

libXp-1.0.0-8.i386.rpm
libXmu-1.0.2-5.i386.rpm
compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-61.i386.rpm
compat-libstdc++-296-2.96-138.i386.rpm
expect-5.42*.rpm1

檢查是否安裝

rpm -q libXp libXmu compat-libstdc++-33 compat-libstdc++-296 expect

如果有缺的套件，可以從原始光碟找到這些安裝檔。
其他的 Linux 版本需要的相依性套件，可以參考此連結 http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoce...es_server.html

開始安裝 - 監測主機(Director)

mkdir install
tar -xzf SysDir6_1_2_Server_Inst_Upd_Linux_x86.tar.gz -C install
cd install
bin/installds -i -u -s -a agentid -p agentpass -r respass -U root -P rootpassword

Tips:

完整格式：
bin/installds -i -u -s -a <agent manager ID> -p <agent manager password> -r <resource manager password> -U root -P <root password>

目前尚不明 <agent manager ID>, <agent manager password>, <resource manager password> 有何作用？？

登入管理介面

輸入網址 http:／／server.ip.address:8421/ibm/console，登入帳號使用系統的 root。

ATKMDL001E: The required Universal Systems Management Services are not available. Log out of the management server and login after a few minutes.

Ans: 請等候一段時間後(約15-20分)，再重新作登入。
